Case study for distributed flood storage

In Fishermans Bend, WSUD will provide distributed storage of stormwater during flood events.

WSUD assets will be designed to hold water within the landscape during flood events, reducing flood risk to community.

The attached case study is an example of how WSUD tree pits, raingardens and passive irrigation trenches could be configured to maximise flood storage.  While the case study specifically relates to Fishermans Bend, the application of typologies could be applied in other locations where flood storage is required
